Full Scale 3D Printed Mascot Replica

I was commissioned by Worcester Polytechnic Institute through the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory to fabricate a replica model of a statue found on campus that could be used at future commencement ceremonies. With the full project taking a total of 3 weeks, which includes the 75 pieces taking 1 full week of printing, as well as the assembly of each individually printed part (gluing and friction welding together), the final piece stands 4.5 feet tall and weighs about 13.5 kilograms.
